Who we are

Back in 2020, we decided to start gardening, and got sucked down the rabbit hole that is soil health and compost. After looking into what other cities were doing to supply useable compost and collect food waste, inspiration struck to become that for our area. By collecting food waste from local families and businesses, we keep it out of trashes, out of the landfill, and back into the overworked soil around us.

Our Overall Goal

Right now, we are working to acquire land, both for ourselves and Trash Lilly Farm, so we can expand our efforts and outreach. In the coming years, our over-arching goals are becoming the primary solution for local food-waste, supplying resources and information to the public, and helping to connect communities.

At the core of Trash Lilly Farm, its about education and progression. We hope to be a self-sufficient example of an in-between lifestyle; Even in an urbanized environment, you can have a positive impact on nature, and the all-or-nothing, purity mindset isn’t helpful or attainable.
